CHARLIE DANIELS RETURNS Never one to be shy about his patriotism, southern country/rocker CHARLIE DANIELS is just out with a new batch of musical ammo and a new book, both guaranteed to keep the anti-war crowd at bay! America has a healthy dose of national pride and self respect to take advantage of thanks to Charlie Daniels. The newest Charlie Daniels Band album titled "Freedom and Justice for All," released by Blue Hat/Audium/Koch Records, is hitting stores on July 22nd just in time in make it a double play for Daniels, whose new book "Ain't No Rag: Freedom, Family, and the Flag", published by Regnery Publishing hits book shelves around the nation on July 21st. "It seems to me that there are some people in this country who are ashamed that America is the last superpower on earth. America is the big kid on the block and I for one am proud of it," said Daniels from the pages of his new book From the diverse group of supporters who've landed on the book's dust-jacket, Charlie Daniels has gathered some major support at the top including Fox TV's Sean Hannity, fellow country music superstars Hank Williams Jr. and Toby Keith, Lt. Col. Oliver North, and even the Rev. Franklin Graham. Like the book, the album is punctuated by Charlie's patented down home vernacular, set to the tune of the CDB, which is flag waving at its most sincere. Included in the fourteen track set are a slew of Charlie's patriotic views including "My Beautiful America," "In America," "America I Believe In You," " American Farmer," "Last Fallen Hero," "Let Freedom Ring," "Star Spangled Banner," the title track "Freedom and Justice for All," and the inspiration for his new book title, "This Ain't No Rag, It's A Flag." No one knows any more first hand than Daniels about the true American spirit of which he sings and writes. For the past four decades he has traveled the length and breath of the country playing country, rock, gospel, blues and the patented blend of southern rock/country he himself helped create. He has performed for the grand and the humble - he has been honored by two U.S. Presidents and has passionately played his music and shouted his support to U.S. troops in audiences theyíve populated in droves all over the world. In his book, Charlie recounts meeting and being mentored by influences as diverse as Bob Dylan, George Harrison, and the Reverend Billy Graham. On the new album 'Freedom and Justice for All', Charlie is true to his musical roots as well as his undying belief in America. "I believe fervently in the American Dream and I myself am a prime example of its validity today," he writes in his book. "The American Dream lives. If a nominally talented, chubby, nearsighted kid from North Carolina can make it, you can too!" See also:
