KIRK'S COLUMN Hello again, fellow twanger. This week's mini lesson has a look at a couple of different techniques rolled into one little blues passage. One is the use of bends, the other the use of double stops. In this case, they both happen at the same time, making it just a little more difficult. Bending one string up while playing another without bending takes a little practice, but once your muscle memory kicks in and makes it second nature, you're in for a good time.
