GIBSON AND BALDWIN NAMM JAM
Gibson Guitar and Baldwin Piano have introduced a wide range of instruments that offers something new for virtually every musical and aesthetic taste. Gibson and Baldwin are unveiling the new models at the annual NAMM musical instruments trade show in Anaheim, January 15-18, 2004. A cross-section of the new offerings from Gibson's extended family of famous brand names ranged from internet cult character Emily the Strange to rock drumming icon Carmine Appice, from a digital Mongoose to colorful Mandobirds, from low-down Baritone Les Paul guitars to high-flying Mandobirds, from a B.B. King Baldwin piano to a matching Les Paul guitar and amp set, plus artist signature instruments designed by Duane Eddy, Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend, Slash, Wayne Static, Alan Bibey and more. "Everyone who plays, collects or just enjoys looking at guitars and pianos will find an intriguing new design in the Gibson/Baldwin NAMM booth," said Henry Juszkiewicz, chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar Corp. Highlights include: Gibson USA: colorful new finishes throughout the Les Paul line; Les Paul Baritone with long-scale; Firebird Studio reverse-body with set neck; Les Paul Executive Set with matching guitar and amp; Americana series of solidbody acoustics with traditional Gibson flat top look.
