KIRK'S COLUMN Finger style rhythm guitar Hello once again, fellow picker. I've loaded up a new lesson at GfB. This one teaches quite a few aspects of music and guitar playing. It's a finger style rhythm guitar look at a piece in 3/4 time, an often neglected time signature. Rhythm guitar is usually thought of as a flat-pick strumming technique, but fingers can be just as effective. Go to http://www.guitarforbeginners.com and follow the “Lessons” link, and pardon the small speed bump I put in the way! PlaneTalk - The Truly Totally Different Guitar Instruction Book continues to sell daily from my other site. The big news is that one of my customers, an Englishman living in Spain, has translated it into Spanish for me. It won't be long before it's available to the huge Spanish speaking market.
Here is an email I received today from a happy customer: I get these testimonials all the time. Many are posted at the home page http://planetalk.thatllteachyou.com. If you're one of those players still looking for the TRICK to putting it all together on the fretboard, drop in for a visit.
All the best, |
