KIRK'S COLUMN More finger style My last lesson was the verse section of that well loved tune, and as promised, I've now done the chorus section. This will be much more challenging, as one of the chords is a barre chord. I have always shied away from using them in my Guitar for Beginners lessons, but there was no easier way to play it. It will be great practice for you. Go to the home page, and through the usual routine. As always, it's a movie/tab/midi lesson, so there's no excuse! My book PlaneTalk continues to sell and receive great feedback. Here is an excerpt from a thread in the private forum that all PlaneTalkers can take part in: "... Out of all the hundreds of dollars of books I have bought, the PlaneTalk book and video are now by far the most important books in my library. I will occasionally go back and look at some of them, but only in light of the PlaneTalk method... My hats off to Kirk......I am finally on the right track and am excited about the possibilities as I get more and more in to it." - Michael H If you're one of the many who have hit the wall in their playing, wondering what the 'trick' is to having mastery of the whole fretboard, not just a few 'boxes', then drop in and read all about it. http://planetalk.thatllteachyou.com If you're a slide guitarist, we'd love you to sign up at the Slide Guitar Forum. We need members! All the best, until next time,
