GUITAR MAN ACOUSTIC GUITAR TIPS Acoustic Day-to-Day Resource http://www.guitartips.addr.com/ Question: I plugged my acoustic guitar into my amp that I use for my electric guitar and it sounds really weird. Is there some way to fix the problem? Jeff Answer: I'm afraid the only good solution is to get an amplifier with a flat response specifically designed for acoustic guitars or even keyboards. Another option would be a PA system. An electric guitar amplifier is set up to sound good with magnetic pickups. Your acoustic guitar and voice amplification as well will sound much better using an amplifier with a flat and wide response. Go to your local music store and check them out as far as all the controls and stuff. Gman ( o )==# |
