GUITARISTS GUIDE TO THE INTERNET

So many guitar web sites, so little time. That's what anyone searching for guitar related information online might think, seeing the sheer number of 6-string oriented sites. But how do you know which ones are worth investigating and which aren't? All guitar sites are not created equal, and that's where the newly launched site, The Guitarist's Guide To The Internet, comes in.

The guide is broken down by popular search subjects, including guitar forums, interviews with guitarists, guitar lessons, guitar tablature, and so on. Each subject has a page devoted to it, like the Guitar Forums page, where visitors can see all sites hosting forums in one place. Each listing comes with a short description and review to help guitarists decide which resource is right for them. Only the best resources online are included, meaning sites have to meet stringent criteria. No poorly designed sites are featured, nor are those with too much advertising or little content.

Search engine results can't always be relied on because of potentially misleading titles or descriptions, and the links on a typical links page on a guitar site aren't much help. Now guitarists can find useful sites more easily at The Guitar Player's Guide To The Internet.

Randy Ellefson, the site creator, is also an instrumental guitarist whose debut CD is available at Amazon.com.
