Ramones guitarist Johnny Ramone died in his sleep last Wednesday following a five-year ordeal with prostate cancer. He became the third member of The Ramones to die in recent years, after the deaths of singer Joey from lymphatic cancer in 2001 and bassist Dee Dee, who OD'd, in 2002.
