TRAVEL-SIZED BASS Traveler guitar proudly introduces its newest creation, the Escape Bass, adding to the company's line of "Escape" travel guitars. Unlike most bass guitars, the instrument's uniquely compact and durable design allows for unprecedented portability. It gives bass players the freedom to play music anywhere, whether backpacking in the wilderness or flying to Europe. "The Escape Bass, like all of our designs, is a performance quality travel instrument with a full scale playing surface," explained Corey Oliver of Traveler Guitar. "We continually challenge ourselves to build travel sized instruments that can go toe to toe--feature for feature--with their full sized counterparts." Featuring 35" long dimensions and weighing just 4.5 lbs, it comes standard with a piezo pick up and built in EQ preamplifier, for rich tones with full body and ringing sustain. The on board switching system allows the bass to be played through a standard bass amplifier or a direct headphone connection. The instrument's body is constructed from beautiful mahogany satin stained alder, and the neck is carved from premium hard rock maple with a rosewood fret board. |
