Publications and EMI Christian Music, has launched Solero(R)5.0, the latest version of its music viewer which now includes the ability to play digital recorded music, as well as the ability to view digital sheet music.

With the improved system, digital recorded music files are compressed using MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3 ("MP3") technology, and then encrypted in Sunhawk's proprietary Sunhawk̉ Audio format. When Sunhawk Audio files, as well as sheet music in Sunhawk.com's Solero format are delivered and downloaded, they can only be played using the Solero Viewer, and because of the encryption technology, the complete recorded music or sheet music file can be accessed only by the purchasing customer.
