A NOTE ABOUT THESE CHARTS... By Jason Horton of Hitsquad

To the casual observer who doesn't read about this chart's methodology (or who don't understand it) it appears that there are lots of music sites in Australia more popular than Hitsquad - which is not the case.

This Australian chart (www.top100.com.au/aust/entertainment/music/index_url.htm) only rates sites based on Australian web users and as only 4% of Hitsquad's traffic originates in Australia, GuitarSite owners Hitsquad, don't rank very high. But - if you compare the ranking of Hitsquad against all the other Australian sites in their chart, using either Netscape's 'What's Related' button or the Alexa plug-in, you will find Hitsquad has a much bigger audience globally than any of the other sites. In fact hitsquad.com is one of the top 5000 sites in the world across all categories.
