RESTRINGING TIPS Here's a couple of tips from cguitar-list@eskimo.com Many players and workshops thread the nylon strings through the holes twice to lock against slip. Bigger holes make this possible or easier. It is important to "set" the knots by pulling them tight in the direction of the nut when the bridge end is first tied. A good tug at the roller end is also advisable when the string is nearly up to pitch. Both of these tugs speed up the stretching process. |
