God guitar for around $400-$500?

Hello Everyone,

I need a little help with buying my next guitar. I know very little about the different manufactures except for the famous ones (Gibson, Fender, Washburn, etc.) I was wondering what all of you like for the price category of $400 - $500. I may go used, but I am not sure yet. Any help will be appreciated.
