Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty, ser. No 1 4880

I have Les Paul of ser. No 1 4880. Still unable to assign the vintage of this one. Even Gibson is unable. Is there any expert who can exatly determine when this guitar was made plus/or what data source I can use to solve that?
