I have a solid state Ibanez GX-60 amp (that I've had since about 1988) that no "expert" player or repairperson can remember ever seeing before. Most say they had no idea Ibanez ever made amps. Anyone have any experience with these or info about them? It has a single 12" speaker and an overdrive switch--looks like it was modelled after an early MESA/Boogie amp.
Ibanez simply returns my emails with a response to the effect that anything that old dates to a time before they bought the company, and basically to go f*** myself and my curiousity. Funny, they seem to not mind all the hullabaloo about the TS-9, which dates back well before that...
Info please on 1980s Ibanez amps
