Tom actually uses a Hammer Slammer in the studio and goes directly into the board, the effects are added there so as there being any 'amp' settings you would need a studio setup like his to emulate, which I doubt very few people have. On stage he uses the strat, because he is under contract to fender, and again he goes into the board and effects are added there, so the same applies about obtaining his exact sound. So I would concentrate on effects as with the right rig you could get that sound with any guitar/amp combo. Good luck getting that tone !
