Will a 100 watt jcm 900 work well with a vs412 cab(140 watts rms)

I have a vs412 cabinet and want a good rock/classic rock tone. Found a deal on the net for a jcm 900 100 watts. WIll they sound alright together or will it damge the head or cab? please help, thanx will
