: i forgot to mention that i want the heavy distortion(metallica pantera) but i want it for home use and i mean by that that i don't need a huge amp.... but an amp that can provide me VERY HEAVY distortion without setting it too much loud....

:I highly recommend contacting Fargen Amplification. Fargenamps.homestead.com. He makes a 30 watt Plexi head at a REASONABLE price. That is, if you're not in a hurry. I got my combo from him 2 weeks ago.He built this amp from ideas' I had in my head,and made it work! You can read reviews of other amps he built for people on Harmony Central review section. Good luck.
