: in my opinion stay away from the mexi stuff. you will get sick of it in a couple of weeks and you cant move the damn things. go american standard for sure. maybe jap the are verry good these days but still no resale value. the am standard will always be worth what you payed for it. and be sure to try a lot of strats they tend to vary in playabillity and tone so take your time and get the wright one
