I have an Ovation Ultra, model #1528, made in Korea. How can I tell what year it is from ? I saw somewhere on the NET, that the RANGE of the serial # dictates the age of the guitar. According to this source, the guitar was built 1979. I am sure, however, that this guitar was purchased NEW between 1985 and 1990. What gives ? Does anyone know what is going on ???
