dont fall for all that vintage crap.......just play them all and decide which one is you.......your not buying this for an investment, your buying it to play......and take a good hard look at the frets to see how worn they are if you go with a used me its expensive to have them done properly....and even worse if done by the wrong loser.....and you need to be specific about the exact model of the new LP your looking that price its either stolen(if its a standard or better).....or it may be one of the smartwoods or one of the special purchase studios from one of the superstores.....if the latter that doesnt mean its not a good guitar....its all in what feels good to you
