: is it a solid body? if it is a hollow body I dont know, but in a solid body it makes it sound a bit sharper, not too much. I've done it with my guitar, and worked well. But keep on searching for more answers...
: Anyway, if you dont like the results, a luthier can restore the guitar... doesnt seem to be that problematic.
