Re: ***** BOSS GT-3 OR KORG AX 1000G OR ??? *****

: Hi,

: I would like to get some advise on multi-fx-pedals.

: I play a Am. std. strat through a Marshall JTM310 valve-amp, different styles of music.

: What unit would you advise (for under $500):

: * The Boss GT-3 (I've tried this one, sounds really good IMO)

: * The Korg AX1000G (I haven't had the oppurtunity to hear one yet)

: * Something else

: And why do you advise it. Did you (A/B) compare the GT-3 and the AX 1000G?

: Thanks Av.
Korg AX1000G has really good quality sounds and can cover up many if not any set up it has also good effects there like ring modulator wah-wah pitch bend,
hold delay mod delay octaver 3choruses flanger pingpong delay 8different echos all these adjustable
+phaser, volume ped ,filtron, traveler,11 different cabinet simulators +11disstortion of different amps
all adjustable ihave this and since throughn away everything else the sound quality is one of the best
i think better than gt-3 (i had only tryed the ME-30 and the
distortions were awfull)It has also stereo output and you can
record sapmle repetable phrases up to 15sec i'd give
a 9/10 for it money worth
One dissadvandage is that you can only move the "bank"
of edited programs in one direction otherwise it;s the
best effect unit in it's class.Personaly i have found the sound(s) i was looking for years in one pedal no joke
Thanks
