: What is the best electric guitar for around $300? This will be my first electric guitar. I'm considering getting one of the following: Fender Stagemaster HSH, Ibanez RG170, Washburn BT-6 or BT-4 Billy T series, or Epiphone LP-100 Plus. Which one of these is the best?

I bought a washburn BT6 not long ago, and I was very pleased with it. it has a locking trem, which can be annoying at times, but it sounds great and has a nice feel. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.
