: What's the most effective way of getting better on guitar if I only have a spare half hour three or four days a week because I work all the time? I gig regular and have band practice Tuesday and Thursday nights straight from work. I've little time to practice new things. What should I practice in those half hours?

I would make time,,, what about in the evening late at night,,? what about the other nights of the week ,,? what r u doing then? try to practice whenever possible, bring an accoustic to work with u??
