: I bought my daughter an old Conrad Flamenco guitar, but she simply cannot handle the friction tuners. Does anyone have a solution? I have not been able to find any machines for nylon strings that are six independent tuners. Thanks.
Pleeze: Don't ever make another tuning-mec. Its an old original system. To make altarations could ruin the price of the instrument.
Buy some special paste in a violin shop/repair/maker (-or cello etc). Take the guitar with you and let them show you.
