: To all, I am currently assembling a list of serial numbers by the long defunct Daion company. If you have a Daion, additional info, know someone who has a Daion, or know someone who has any additional info, please email me at the addy above, or visit my website, Daions Online at :http://home.att.net/~daion/index.html Thanx
Hi, I own a near perfect "the 82" Jumbo acoustic Daion, serial #, 825158 D. I was trained as a luthier at Taylor Guitars in San Diego. This older instrument caught my eye at a guitar shop in Crossville Tn. The condition was only one of set-up neglect, so I did my thing and WOW! what a great player. The brass inlays are different, and the maple binding
is reminiscent of the early Taylors , the quality is much the same. I am glad I rescued this well made instrument... however I will part with it.... firm at $600.00 includes molded light-weight case and brass bridge-pins. condition is between excellent and mint. Thanks guys! good to see your site, regards, Anthony Zarola
