: I have a '64 Gibson Melody Maker (double cutaway) and the original tailpiece is in bad shape. I'm looking for a tailpiece/bridge that will install on the original postbolts. I DON'T want to modify this ax anymore than necessary, but don't care for the string rattle etc with the original tailpiece. I've heard the Badass Bridge will do the trick. Is this certain and are there others that will attach using the original bolts? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello,
I have an early 60's MM and had the Badass bridge installed. It fit perfectly. Hope this helps.
