: I have a Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar and I want to install a wammy bar on it. Is it possible, and is there an easy way to do it???
Well, I don't know if I would install a wammy on a Les Paul simply for estetic reasons. I have seen LPs with Floyd Rose and Khaler (do they still make those?) but it involves routing the guitar, which I would not do. I have found that Arch Top solid bodies don't respond as well to Wammys as opposed to a flat-top solid like a strat. I think if it worked well, Gibson would have done it by now. I would advise against it. And definetly stay away from the BOWEN Handel if you ever want you guitar to stay in tune again.
