The JS32Q Dinky Arch Top is among the newest affordable guitars from Jackson, featuring a quilt maple arched top.

It is part of Jackson's seemingly unending barrage of new electric guitar models for 2013.

The Dinky JS series is known for providing Jackson approved quality instruments at bargain prices. The JS32Q Dinky Arch Top follows this same philosophy, providing extra eye candies in the form of a quilt maple arched top, while keeping the price tag reasonable.

At the core of this guitar is a basswood body carved into Jackson's popular super strat shape called "Dinky". The body features an arched quilt maple top that gives it its distinctive appearance. It is currently available in two Gloss Polyurethane finishes - Transparent Amber and Transparent Black.

The guitar comes with a bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement. It features a bound rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets. The headstock is also bound to match the neck, while Jackson's famous Pearloid shark fin inlays adds both functional and aesthetic value to the guitar. The guitar has a scale length of 25.5" and comes with a nut width of 1.6875".

Dual Jackson High Output Humbucking pickups are installed into the guitar, designed to be high-gain friendly with tones that match the guitar's aesthetics. Basic controls are provided including a 3-position blade, a master tone knob and a master volume knob. Other hardware include a Jackson Licensed Double Locking Tremolo and Jackson Sealed Die-cast tuners, which all follow a black theme.

A more affordable version called JS32 Dinky Arch Top is also available, featuring a satin finished arch-top without the extra cost of having a quilt maple top. A stop tailpiece version is also available, featuring Jackson's compensated and adjustable strings-through body bridge.
