    My subject above is my msg. I actually live just a wee bit north of Dallas in Carrollton and first saw you in the Frisco Mall and bought all your CDs. I can easily visit there again or over at nearby Vista Ridge in Lewisville if I know you are scheduled to be there. Visited Frisco last Sunday hoping you could be there but no luck. I understand that you go as far as Minnesota to perform so we may be seeing less of you down here but hope not. Always a treat to see you in person.

    Mr. Crist, I love your music. I have all the CD’s and listen often. I met you and your lovely wife at the Stonebriar Center Mall in Frisco, TX. Please let me know if there will be new music in the future. By the way, I have given your website address to several people. But to date, I have found the site not to be operational, especially for listening to excerpts of your music. I hope you will update soon. Thank you for such wonderful listening music.

    I heard Hewlett Crist is coming out with a 5th album..
    Does anyone know anything about this?

    I have all 4 albums and went to a concert in October..

      I would expect him to keep in churning them out as fast as he can write and record them, Pam. I did not know about his 5th one however, but glad you mentioned it and so I thank you for the "heads up". I will be checking on it here in Dallas. I see he was booked for a couple of Malls this last October. I still look for him out at the Frisco, Texas Mall where I first saw him but have only seen him there twice. I think his popularity is keeping him busy and so we may be seeing less and less of him at these malls. Hope i’m wrong about that though. Cheers, Pam!

    I could throw away all my CDs and play Hewlitt Crist’s music 24/7. I have been faithfully checking monthly to see when IV was coming out. I am in 7th heaven now and will be camping out at my mailbox until it is in my hands.

      Yeah, I feel the same way. Just happened to hear him in the Frisco Mall right after it opened one Sunday afternoon while shopping and I was mesmerized by the soothing beauty of it. I found out the next time he would be there and got all of his CDs he had there for sale. I hope to find out his schedule if I can and continue to get them as soon as he has them ready for sale.

      I know exactly what you mean, Beth as I felt the same way. I made a casette tape of CD #4 for my Electric Organ Music Teacher who uses it to relax while she practices her Yoga exercises. Anyone with a sleeping problem should put on "River Love (Rio Amor)" from #4 and I think they would learn how to relax and probably eventually succeed in getting into peaceful, restful sleep. Rio Amor is the most relaxing piece I have ever heard. Cheers, Beth. Thanks for sharing.

    If anyone has ever heard him you know what I speak of…. The music is so different from any other I have heard… It is something…

    Does anyone know why he doesn’t sell in stores? I can’t believe it…

      Nancy, you definitely have the winning suggestion and right idea there on relaxing with his music. As I said here in another post, I have all his CDs thus far and my favorite is #2 and the 2d one on it called "Rio Amor (River Love). Insomnia would be a thing of the past if those troubled people would listen to it either in or out of the tub, but I prefer your scenario. Cheers!

    He is awesome. My wife won’t play anything else. I highly recommend his music to anyone who truly appreciates classical guitar. Hell, my kids even love it.. Keep it up Hewlett..

    Hewlett is an amazing artist, if you haven’t heard him, he plays Spanish Classical Instrumental songs that grab you where it hurts.
    Has anyone else ever heard of this guy, he used to play with Dr. Hook…..

      Hewlett & his wife, Joy, are friends of mine. He resides in Texas, and takes occasional vacations to visit friends in Mexico.

      They are kind and thoughtful people who occasionaly travel around various quality shopping malls, in which Hewlett makes personal appearances and offers his CDs for sale to the public. Joy travels with him and is also worth meeting.

      Yes, I agree Hewlett is a gifted guitar player, as his style is very soothing and everyone seems to like it…

      He recently released The River Grande Songs # IV. Another winner for Hewlett.
