Kenny Gill passed away in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on February 28, 2010. He is survived by his sons Steve and Kirk Guillot. Rest in peace Kenny. We will miss you.

What should I expect to pay for "a so called Lark brand Bass guitar"
I bought a Lark Bass, and I payed $218.95, it was an OK bass, not like I’ve got now, but its parts weren’t very stable, as it ended up needing new pickups and wiring. Get a Fender Jazz Bass instead.
