not the ventures, this was a release done in the 60’s SLOW, but was not santo and johnny. does anyone know where i could find all the artists that have done this and released? maybe King somebody or other.
i need the 100% correct tab for this song if anyone has it
Sleepwalk
Use a glass, metal, or brass slide on the pinky finger
damp the first finger across all the strings to mute.
Position the slide directly over the fret number and
just barely press the slide down (like when playing
harmonics)

Johnny Combs was my Step Dad in the 60’s.People used to tell me he was the best guitar player in the country.He had a band called the rythem ramblers.they played a lot in the hey days of the Russion River.He also had a son named Jerry Combs.Iused to watch them jam when I was eight years old.

This particular johnny, Johnny Combs, told me that he did the arangement for Sleepwalk.ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING??
I would LOVE to know more of the story(maybe I will write a script for a movie of the week…HA HA .
Unfortunateley, I dont have the tab. But I did start to work it out yesturday.
The main rythem guitar section goes:

As for the lapsteel parts, I have been using a hawian tuning EBEG#C#E (from low to high E), with the parts mainly aroun the 9th fret, 2nd and 4th frets.
If anyone does find the full tab, please post it whereabouts.

I first heard this enchanting song while watching the movie "La Bamba" (If I remember correctly, it’s played during the opening scene where the kids are in a playground or something).It’s nice to see someone pay tribute to it. Do you know where I can get the guitar tabs for Sleepwalk?
