Once described as “the next Randy Crawfor” by the Sunday Times, Nanette Welmans has been a professional singer since she was sixteen. She was awarded the coveted BBC radio’s ‘jazz soloist of the year’ award, whilst resident at Ronnie Scotts. Her most recent CD ‘It’s personal’ has been engineered, produced, and co-writen by her drummer/song-writer husband who has also written for Tina Turner. Nanette has play at the Albert Hall the Royal Festival hall and has sessioned at Abbey Road and Whitefield St. She has toured with Sir Cliff Richard and Gloria Gaynor.
