WHat a great idea for a band. A fooking groove with know beard. I also hate craig david, and david grey and steriphonicds and old men who play blues all day. Its all gone wrong, people who play the guitar just widdle all day. The only true guitarist in the world today is John Fushianti and that fellow from Mookcontrol from engerland. I have seen them play once and I now want to model myself on them. They are amazing. One fellow loks like a violent baby killer but he actualy sounds quite soft. He plays base like a mook. Unreal. Thre piece from engerland. The lead guy is 28 but looks 22, where has he been for all this time. How can he not have been in successful bands before. WHo knows, but mookmachine are fantastic. This guy plays guitar like a tru contempory. We love mookcontrol!!!

I got mine in early 2001 for $2500…..only played it a few times….had it signed by the man himself in 2003 on long island….been tucked away ever since….wanna buy it?

If you order it from Ishibashi Music, its cost is 140,000 japanese yen. But usually it is a little bit cheeper.
Anyway it is much more cheep tahn american made, and I suppose not worse!

A recent call to Mark Duncan at Fender and he told me that they were in paint this month and he expects the first shipment to be in Jan. 2001. They have had a lot of problems getting the scallops on the neck right. They were machining the necks on a CNC machine and since last July the’ve been working on the necks. I have been calling every month since then to get updates. I got my price from a GUITAR CENTER in East Brunswick N.J. If you’ve recieved a better quote please let me know so that I can take it to them and get a better price. If my price is better I will do what I can to help you get a better price. I could FAX you my quote to show to your dealer. Let me know either way. Maybe later we can exchange reviews when they finally arrive.
Do you know anyone what is the mark of Ritchie’s indian style leather jacket?
I was wondering how you were able to get one of these strats because they are being mfg’d at the Fender Custom shop here in USA. They are not due to be shipped untill Jan of 2001. I have had one on order since Feb of 1999 and am promised to be one of the 1st 6 shipped in Jan. Also since they are to be mfg’d here, why is your certificate in Japanese. I can’t wait to get my hands on mine. I also have the 70’s Blackmore Strat and love it. I play it through POD from Line6 to recreate the Marshall sound. It also sounds great through other simulated amps. I would appreciate your reply. Thank You.

I have to say sorry not to reply earlier!
My set-neck Blackmore Strat is made by Fender Japan Custom Shop, that’s why it is vintage white. They made only 30 pieces, like mine, and my strat iis the 4th of them.
You can see Ritchie using the same guitar in the Blackmore’s Night video: "No second chance".
So I suppose this one is much better, than the american, 1cause that one is olympic white and not figured maple neck!
(But it is only my opinion!)
