I’ve just gone to put the lead into my guitar and the jack fell clean through. The washer from the inside fell in, plucked that out through the F-hole. The outside washer and knut are loose too, tried using pliers but the jack is now on a slant and will not come back through the hole if needed.
I was switching out my strings last night..I had upgraded to a .60 low ‘E’, I got a half a wind of the string on the peg, and the nut chipped off at the corner. What would go into replacing the nut, and should I go for graphite rather than bone or plastic? Or should I just let the pros handle it…Need input.
I think I need to adjust my truss rod to get my tuning and all correct, does anybody now how to fix the neck on a typical stratocaster, how to tell were it should be set and all that?
strings 5 and 6 sound bed why this strings touching the frets? and the other strings do not touch the strings?
what string use michael romeo ?from simphony x?
I’ve just removed the pickguard, its glued in the area between
mid and neck pickups,I used a screwdriver to force(gently!!)the pickguard to unglue in that area,no problem.I’m planning to shield the cavity, remove the "all on"switch, and put a real volume knob there, the tone will be where now we have the plastic s**t double pot..the cavity is a pain inthe ass to be shielded!

Hi – I have an old American Standard Stratocastor from around 1987 or 88. It looks like it has an older version of your tuners. If this is the case, do you have any parts available? I’m missing one of the lock screws(?)
Thanks, for your time
i have an alvarez dana 600, 1 humbucker and 1 single coil, the electrics were altered to incorperate an xlr socket before i bought it, i am desperate to return this beutifull instrument back to factory spec, but cannot find an origional wiring diagram, HEEEELP! please somebody.
I use a screwdriver with exchangeable tip, I think the Phillips no 1 or no 2 fits right in. It is a squareshaped hole but I allways use the above. The neck is glued only between the fingerboard and the spruce top, use a hot knife and preheat the top of the fingerboard with steam, or try boiled water wet piece of towel in a ziplock bag.
I just put together a squire strat, and i need to know how i am supposed to connect the two wires to the input jack… i was wondering if anyone could help me out…
i had to put my stuff in including my electric guitar in storage for a month until i moved into my house. When i got it home i found the new strings i had put on all rusty and my neck totally warped. is there any way i can fix this at home so i dont have to spend 120$?? any info will help
