  2. how do I synch a 2120 to an MPX R1 controller

    I have been trying to sync (tap tempo) a lexicon mpx r1 to a 2120 (I do have other units hooked up to this foot controller, MPX 1 & MPX G2 hence the choice of controller). I have tried all the re-assign approaches internally inside the MPX R1 but no joy, I have also tried to connect a 3 way external switch box (trs jack – SW1 / SW2 / SW3) to the MPX R1 but the CC numbers sent from the R1 are (I think) note on and note off combined hence I get a tempo too fast when I tap say four beats into the switch. Anybody out there have any suggestions, thanks for reading, Ray.

      Just get an EMG-81 humbucker and put that in your bridge, that’ll give your guitar the rage you need.

      That and a kill-switch on your guitar.

      : to answer this question, go to ebay and buy it. you can purchase the programmer and eprom eraser for this chip then you have to have the complete program to remap it so, it is pretty unlikely anyone is going to send you one. you can go to digitech and they still use this thing and i am sure they will make you one or you can go to ebay and buy one in a bid for around 40 to 50 bucks.

  32. accoustic patch for 2120?

    i played ocer a digitech rp2000 and had a wonderful accoustic guitar simulation!!
    how can a more expensive and pro machine like 2120 not have an accoustic guitar patch?? please if anyone has a patch for accoustic simulation send it over. thanks.

      zat een beetje te spelen op internet kom ik jouw naam daar tegen? alles goed met je? hoor dat je net in zuid-afrika bent geweest. mooi he. ik ben daar een paar geleden met kerst en oudjaar geweest. vond het echt prachtig. zat je ook in kaapstad? hoop dat verder alles goed met je gaat!
      ik werk in amsterdam bij een bedrijf dat handelt aan de optiebeurs en vertrek per eind maart voor een paar maanden naar chicago. verheug ik me op. zo’n leuke stad!

    I currently have an RP20 and am considering upgrading to the 2120. Does the unit warrant the additional expense. Also, I would consider keeping the RP20 as a backup. Could I use the RP20 as a foot controller for the 2120?

        Oops! that wasn’t supposed happen. Anyway, in answer to your question…" is the 2120 worth the expense in replacing the rp20? " Yes it is. It can do everything the rp20 can. It has the potential do be much more versatile and flexible. The 2120’s foot controller is capable of much more and the 2120 can be programmed to emulate any sound you could possibly want for the next…hmmm, say 5 years or until something better comes along. The 2120 can sound as good as TC’s G-Force if it is in the right hands. It’s kind of up the the user. There you go! Good Luck
