      TAYLOR 555 12 STRING W/ DUAL PICKUPS 1500 OBO

      Place: San Francisco, CA
      Im selling my Taylor 12 string guitar. It is a model 555 large body guitar…in beautiful condition. No scratches…very clean.
      Comes with original paperwork, and custom hardcase from Taylor

      Installed are two mics.
      One AKG condensor and one Highlander IP-2 under the bridge.
      Mics are set up to be run with either a stereo amplifier or by using a simple 1/4 in standard instrument cable. With stereo the signals from the different mics can be split and mixed to give incredibly accurate acoustic tone during amplification. This is a top of the line mic set up.

      Original cost was 2000 for the guitar…500 for the mics installed. I am selling for 1500 OBO.

        I just traded a 1952 re-issue Telecaster for one of these. It had been on layaway at Guitar Center in Austin for a while and had just been put back out that day. I also have an 815ce that I bought new in 2004. My 422k has a fishman pickup, but no blender. It still sounds great plugged in or unplugged. The soundboard has quite a bit of flame on it for being a cheaper koa Taylor. It has a pinless bridge. Excellent guitar.

    I have a custom Taylor, cutaway, fiddle back matched maple back and sides, it is a 600 body with a 800 hole and 900 neck with a rose in-laid on the headstock. I believe it was made in 1992, but would like to know more about it.

          I wouldn’t bother if I were you. I bought one a Taylor 514 ce a few months ago and was extremely disappointed. I’m sorry I didn’t opt for a Takamine or a cheaper Martin.

          The action is stiff and awkward with a huge amount of fretbuzz even after a pricey set up.

          It’s your choice at the end of the day – but I’ll never buy a Taylor again.

      There is a baby taylor on e-Bay today and it does not have a pick guard to identify it is any specific hand maybe this will work for you just restring it.

    I have a brand new Taylor 314 CE acoustic electric guitar for sale. It is a 2002 model and I purchased it new just a few months ago. Unfortunately, I now have a permanent disability affecting my arm/hand and I can’t play it – this is in brand new shape – comes with the Taylor case and I still have the warranty card – have not mailed it in yet – I would like $1250 to cover what I paid – I love the guitar, the action is great, the sounds is wonderful,I wish could play it.       Taylor Baby Liberty guitar, made from the only remaining Liberty Tree (Poplar Tulip), the wood is aprox 450 to 600 years old, and yes, they are extinct. After hurracane Floyd destroyed the tree in 1999, Mr Taylor decided to buy the tree and conmemorate it by building some very beatutifull guitars in limited numbers this is #351 out of aprox 410 babys made, the larger models sell for around 7500. Yes sir, the likes of Samule Chase once gathered around these trees to plan the freedom this country enjoys and now that same tree is making music, what a guitar. This guitar has the end pins custom to match the Liberty theme but I have the factory ones, it has been kept in a glass display case in my humidity controlled recording studio for ppl to look at only, it is dead mint, played only once by myself, the sound this guitar projects is awesome and like nothing you have ever heard, truly a great instrument, not mention a historical piece that will only appraise in value for pic please email me !!!!!

        If you can’t find a CPSM (wonderful instrument), Taylor custom shop will build you a new guitar with the 1 7/8" neck for $240 extra. However, since it is special order and the dealer doesn’t have any cost beyond placing the order (because you have to make a downpayment), you should be able to get one for no more than the prices he has on his new in-store models (less really – depending on your willingness to haggle). Going that route will get you the neck width and the new ES system, instead of the custom Fishman electronics. (I saw Proctor in concert last month and he is expecting the ES system to allow him to leave most of his external electronics at home.)
