I guess how much it is worth depends very much on how much someone is willing to pay? How does one find out it's woods, it's age, its condition and how beautiful or otherwise it sounds?
I have played a couple of older Matons, a 25 + year old Coolibah, was OK, but didn't do much for me, but I fell in love with a 30 year old Maton the other day - but I can't have it!

Was wondering how your Grnadma's DC1500 is going. Have you sold it? Or did you fall in love with it and hang on to it? I have a DC 1500 which is a very cool guitar (1965).
