In fact, Zeryab Guitars is named after the musician who improved on the oud and introduced it to Europe in the 10th century.
Main Mahd has built guitars since 1998. He studied guitar construction in Bridgewater, nova Scotia under George Rizsanyi, and went on to build guitars in Newfoundland, Toronto and now resides in Edmonton.
