I talked to him today. He gave me his card and said "Gimme a call, let’s hang." He looks good, he’s all excited about his new album and the upcoming tour, and pretty much upbeat about things. He was telling me about his new dragster. I guess he’s into this top fuel drag racing scene, and he’s got a car that’s ready to go…fast! I just met him today for the first time. I walked up and asked him if he played music? "Yeah, I used to have a little band called Ratt." He was real low key about it, not bragging at all. I invited him to come over and check out my jam out studio at my house and see my guitar collection. "Cool, I’d love to see it." Then he gave me his card and said he had to go. Nice guy, real nice guy. I’m gonna call this weekend, but first I’m gonna learn how to play "round and round." Of course it helps that I’m the senior fucking editor at The Warner Bros.
