I have 4 tickets i’m trying to sell for the October 7th 2012 show in Agoura Hills CA. at the Canyon Club. They retail for $265 with all the convenience charges. I’m trying to get $125 for all 4. Emai me if your interested. Im in Orange County CA.

I got a email from Ticketmaster and one of my husband and my two teen age childrens favs, Kenny Wayne Shephard, was playing. I bougt 4 tickets online and printed them out the same day, one month before the Sept.2 show at the Delta Downs Event Center in Vinton, LA. We love Kenny’s music and drove 2 and 1/2hours south to Vinton, where we had reserved a room for the night, just to find out when we got to Delta Downs, that no one under the age of 21 was alowed in. Needless to say, some parents might have left their teenage children in the room and went anyway, but we’re not that kind of parents. If the kids couldn’t see the concert, then neither would we.
I paid a total of $168.00 for those tickets. And I can’t get my money back from Ticketmaster or Delta Downs. We really love Kenny’s music, and this was a once in a lifetime chance for the family to see him together since my husband works in the oil field in only at home at certain weeks of the month. I wish, for the sake of other people that would like to see Kenny in concert as a family, he would only play at venues that allow all ages. I still have the tickets, but we have no memories. Only out the price of a hotel room and gas on top of the tickets we could get no refund on. Hope you will pass this info along to him, if not, he could lose alot of fans, seeing as not all of his fans are the age of 21 or older.

He has a blues documentary that should be airing on PBS soon and it should be released on DVD within a few months. Supposed to be a 2 week long trip aroung the south playing with blues legends. You can find more about it on his website. kennywayneshepherd.net
KWS will release a DVD Soon. This DVD ( preject name Blues Diary ) is recorded Last Year before His Last Album. He drives accross the US to play some Duet with his idole. Artists that Kenny will be featuring include Bryan Lee, Gatemouth Brown, B.B. King, Hubert Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins, Bob Margolin, Jerry McCain, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Sam Lay, “Wild Child” Butler, Henry Townsend, Honeyboy Edwards, Cootie Stark, Essie Mae Brooks, John Dee Holman, Neal Pattman, Etta Baker and Buddy Flett among others.

Here is my small report of his new album.
Concept That for me is unique actually. Kenny Wayne made a trip of 10 days in the US to meet and play with his idols (B. B. King, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Hubert Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins, Henry Townsend, Honeyboy Edwards, Cootie Stark, Neal Pattman, and Etta Baker, Jerry "Boogie" McCain, Buddy Flett, Bryan Lee, John Dee Holeman, The Howlin’ Wolf Band and thee Muddy Waters Band ).
This new release is a combo of CD/DVD. The CD is the soundtrack of the DVD Documentary. We found some compositions of the meeting bluesmen and for one time the CD is full !! 80 Minutes of pure good blues. There is a good mix between Acoustic and electric.
The DVD is very good but it’s a documentary and not a DVD Live, Of course we can see some part of the performance but necessary complete except for the last day who was a Live show on a church with the Members of the Howling Wolf band and after with the members of the Muddy Water Band.
Partial proceeds of this project are being donated to Music Maker Relief Foundation
