acustic guitar tree of life on neck
i have a cortez guitar with tree of life up the neck my dad had for approx 20 years he past away oct 14th it was taken from the house i think it was mmp1 whats it worth? please help

Looking for help to identify a Cort guitar
I am trying to find out about a (old?) guitar.
It says "Cort" on headstock, main color is old pink (?)(kind of "flashy red") with three gold stripes on the body. Two double are gold too. Solid body is symetrical. Four knob,1 switch and jack place on the main side of solid body. looks 70s.
I can't find it anywhere

I own a Cortez J-7000 Guitar and would like to know what it is worth and some information about the age of this Guitar. It is made in Japan and has an mother of pearl inlaid neck and has a number 70440 stamped inside on the Cortez label. Thanks

Cortez J7000
I also have a J7000 that I got in 1978 I believe. I still play it regularly and have never had to have to take it to a shop for mtce, although one of my frets is worn a little low. Its been a sweet friend for over 30 years.

I also have a cortez J-7000 which has a sweet inlay and one of the best sounds ive heard out of a guitar, love it! you cant find sound like that anymore. i have no clue how old it is. best gift ever.

have recently aquired a Suzuki classical guitar...rosewood body, hahogany neck, gold plated hardware......model #ad536s,,,,,can anyone offer more information..I know the model must be pre 1985...just wondering how much older....and....is it possible that Kai Yari may have built this? I had a handmade Yari for many years and the similarities to that and the Suzuki guitar are almost identical in every detail...

Any follow up information here? I see so many questions with no answers. Where can one get detailed info on the different models? I have what’s listed above but know nothing about it. Solid or laminate, cedar or spruce? Why is the fretboard black, like ebony, but deep brown on the sides? What wood was it before staining?

Have recently picked up a mint condition Cortez..blonde colored dreadnaught guitar...model c460.....can anyone offer a time frame when it may have been built...the overtones suggest at least 25 years old however it may be older....

I bought mine in 1978 for $110, if that's any help. Bound rosewood fretboard with fake abalone inlay. I don't play mine much anymoe, but it's still in pretty good shape.
