I got an older banjo that my father found. I was wondering if you know anything about them. Or where i cna find out information and look at pictures. It has on back on it. There are no major defects on it. it has a small crack on the body near the back by one of the bolts that holds the front on. The name Kay is on it like a music stand with the K going through the center of the stand.
I Have one too… I play it live in a country band.
I don’t know much about it.
I have a similar Kay banjo and am also looking for more information.
I have my 1959 Silvertone electric,single cutaway,double pickup,
black,rosewood fingerboard,white picguard,plays and sounds great
for a guitar 43years old. I’ve had it for that long!
