I've got a perfect condition (plastic still on the back pannels) Eddie Van Halen, Ernie Ball Musicman in extremely rare green. I've also got one in honeyburst that is just gorgious! Well, what do you think (in Cdn and/or Amer. dollars?

Does anyone know of a free program that helps to easily
create guitar tabs? Or a program I can find in the
store? Cause its a bitch to try and write out tabs
in a word processor. Thanks for any help.

In www.mysongbook.com you can download the Guitar Pro file of that music. I downloaded and it´s pretty easy to play... You have to download guitarpro at www.guitarpro.com, though.

: I have a fender hotrod deluxe 1x12 and a mesa boogie dc-2. Both sound great but do different things. The fender has an unbelievable clean sound and a distortion that has dynamics. You can hit a distorted chord and still hear the individual notes. The boogie also has a cool clean channel but it isn't as clean as the fender (more colored). The distortion is fuller sounding and has better sustain. I'm selling the boogie because it doesn't fit my style as well, but I'd love to keep both. I would check out some of the new Marshalls also. Guitar player had a reveiw of the hotrod and so did guitar world about a year and a half ago. Guitar player has had quite a few reviews in the last year of some very cool amps, you could check out their website or go to a library and look for back issues.

I have been doing some serious tone searching lately. Go to harmonycentral.com There are millions of people who review every piece of gear you can imagine. There is nothing like it. What you get really depends on how much you want to spend. If you want tube/expensive, go with the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. Super heavy. Also the Marshall 2000 DSL 50 is cool. These are both good metal amps. If you are looking for hybrid amps that emulate sounds, Yamaha has a good one, and the Line6 stuff sounds pretty good. Go to that Harmony Central site. You can hear the good, the bad and the ugly!

The Mesa Road King is the most awesome thing I have ever used. Try a 4 x 10 for speaker A and 2 x 12 for speaker B (Mesa Recto speakers, of course) and you will see what I mean!

: I think the problem might be that you spelled it wrong. It's "RickenbAcker". www.rickenbacker.com has all the models,including pics. They tend to be fairly steep, about $1000 for the middle models, and the signatures can go for up tp $3000.

Maybe this is oversimplified, but when you drop your E (6th) string
down to D, when you play the string with your finger on the 7th fret,
the note should be the same as your open A (5th) string.

I just bought my first electric after playing acoustic for 4 years. I can't get my electric to stay in tune. The strings tighten up and go sharp seconds after tuning perfectly with an electric tuner. Any suggestions?

For anyone looking for a new guitar, you have got to try a MusicMan guitar!! I've been playing for over 20 years (always Gibson) and have been looking for a new guitar. I sat down and played a minimum of 50 different Strats, tried PRS's, every Gibson made, and just couldn't find the guitar I wanted. Walking out of my local Guitar Center store, I walked by their Ernie Ball MusicMan guitars and just for the heck of it..picked one up. Just about crapped my pants! I've never felt a guitar neck like this..it is beautiful. The quality is unmatched. Do yourself a favor and try one. I just bought one after tring various models for the last 3 months. Even if you're not looking, find a dealer and sit down with one! All guitarists need to experience this! If I sound like a fanatic, sorry...I just love this thing!

vintage musicman guitar

Hey. Ive got a vintage musicman guitar that i was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate for. No one has ever heard of this model as a guitar, and the serial number is like f0000001034. It is a Musicman Stingray 2. People have heard of it as a bass, but not a guitar. If anyone could help me out, i would really appreciate it. Thanx.

Hi, I have a Musicman Stingray guitar (not a 2, the earlier one). Used to have a Musicman Sabre 2, the Stingray is better. Can't offer an estimate of value as you hardly ever see them. Awesome Guitars!!

I'm with this guy. If Flea, the greatest bassist in the world(Some might argue) uses one well that's got to say something about the guitar. By the way i'm a bassist. I personally think that musicman guitars are the best in the world, especially the STINGRAY 5string model that's gorgeous. I tried one for the first time ever last week or so and I#ve fallen in love with the thing, I have to get one!!!

I heard Jimmy Page has some sort of self tuning
guitar from a friend who's often full of crap. If any
one out there knows of such a self tuning guitar I'd

Yeah....I think Jimmy would have loved to have our guitars when he was in the Firm, but you have to admit....it took him to the area he needed to go and without that would we have any material today?
