I've got a double-neck (6/12) string I bought new in the late 60's. Bridge needs alignment and it's been played very little. Any idea what it might be worth today?

I know someone who has a Mosrite Acoustic Bass. I currently have the instrument with the promise that I could find out some information on it. Could you enlighten me? The serial number is R0201. What year is it? What is it worth? The owner my be interested in selling it if it's worth something.

I paid about $900 for mine in Grand Rapids, MI. It's a sweet guitar. Has a beautiful, rich sound and is a blast to play. It was worth every penny.

What other problems do you have besides being unemployed, a moron and a dork?

I came across a great Tokai Custom Edition, Black Gloss Tele Body, White binding, single HB, one Vol Pt no tone, maple neck, black droopy pointed headstock,
it had been modified with the original Floyed Rose removed (I think) and a fixed tail fitted.
It plays like a monster and looks great, what the hell is it, 1981 era

I'm a begginer, and I am looking at buying a used telecaster. However, I don't want to spend over $400 total for the amp and the guitar because I am going off to college in less than a year, and my budget is a bit tight. I was wondering if there was any online stores that I could realistically pay this amount for both? Also, i was wondering what you think a decent smaller amp is for a small budget, =). I am a beginner so i don't need a very powerful amp. I would really appreciate any feedback that you could give me. Thank you for your help.

: I have many of the answers to your questions. First of all, If your total budget is $500 or so, that is pretty good, you have enough money to buy some quality equipment. Guitars and amps really go on style. what you have to do is go into a store and just try every variation of guitar. Guitar is totally your own opinion, but amps go on how big of a room you play. If you play in your bedroom, buy 10' or 12' speaker, or in wattage, 30-65 watts. Now cartaristics,Humbuckers are a kind of pickup. A humbucker, is a double coil pickup, which you could find on a Les Paul. A pickup, is a kind a magnetic microphone, that sends the sound of the guitar to the amp. A three position switch changes between pickups, a 5 position switch, could make it position coil- tapping (using mulitiple pickups). Accesories: Package of 50 picks, a Strap, another guitar stand, another pack of strings, a peg winder, possible a slide and a capo. In the future, you can buy a effect (stomp box or Multi effects proccesors). If you have any more in depth questions I could walk you through it. So e-mail me at [email protected], and good luck
