Need to buy a Boss GT5 or a similar one with most function for my DAD.

Hi All,
My Dad wants a GT5. He is in India. He is not a very advanced Guitar player. I couldn't afford a GT5 for $500 or $600. Is there any alternative system available to buy below $200 ? He is looks for a system that will sync Violin, Sitar, Veena like instruments. Thanks for the help.

Hi everybody and thanks for at least trying to help me...i want to adjust my harmonics on my guitar that has a floyd rose tremolo...lets say the 6th E is 440hz open but at the 12th fret its sharp a little...i know i have to adjust it so the string is longer but how? thank you very much...would anybody know where i could find reliable boss gt-3 patches...thx

It should be the A string that is at 440. Here's what you do. Tune each string. Next, start with the low E string and fret it at the 12 fret. If it is sharp then you need to move the saddle back...if flat you need to move it forwards. You can do that by loosening the string, loosen the allen screw that sits in front of the saddle, then move the saddle in the appropriate direction. Thighten everything and retune. Check again at the 12 fret. Repeat the process as necessary. Move on to the next string.

Do you guys have an idea what portable midi device (no laptop) can i use for taking my processor's presets with me all the time when touring?
Just in case a factory reset is needed and i have to
bulk dump my presets back to my processor?

I have an old cutaway elec/acoustic Hohner.(leyanda line) When I plug it into the desk I get no signal.Ther does not seem to be any battery power in the guitar. Do I need to use phantom power on the desk?

How do I switch preset locations on a Boss ME-30?

Does anyone out there know how to switch the locations of the preset patch sounds on a Boss ME-30? I lost the owner's manual and I can't figure out what to do without losing other preset sounds. I would really appreciate the help, I just want to put three sounds I use on the same bank instead of doing a tap dance to get to each one. Thanks.

u push the copy button next to the edit and choose the bank u want to put them in....

I'd say start with the one you enjoy the most.Have fun,it'll keep you motivated,you can always pick up the other one later.
Guitars?? Hmm,$200.-$350. is about right.Squire(Fender),Epiphone makes decent stuff.Ibanez and Fernandez also.I'd stay away from locking tremelos for now.
If you get a used guitar,make sure there isn't a lot of fret wear and the neck is straight.

Chrome or open doesn't really matter. Look towards a good Duncan or Dimarzio. You can go to their websites and compare attributes.
