Does anyone know where I could find info about Ibanez Bass production from the 80's?

You see, I have this wild looking Ibanez Roadstar Bass painted all pink with a splatter paint design on it. All factory original with only a slight mod to the neck to allow for easier positioning.

Any assist would be greatly appreciated!!

jazz guitar/Blues guitar

What is the difference between a Jazz guitar and a blues guitar. I own an Ibanez, George Benson,GB 10 with a single pick up, and hope to play folk, country and learn a little blues. Is the sound very different from a blues guitar? What is a good blues guitar. Is a Les Paul a versitile guitar?

I don't know if there are guitars that are blues and guitars that are not but a lot of blues artists use strats(SRV), telecasters(Muddy Waters), epiphones (Otis Rush) flying v (Albert King).

Hi there, for what it's worth, it is not the guitar that matters so much as how you play it to get a blues sound. For jazz you need to know your chords and scales very well and long fingers help.

in my opinion any thing with 2 humbuckers will make a perfect blues but teles will work to it all depends on what u like. me personly i play a dearmon (which is like a lp copy) but i can get some realy good mellow blues sounds out of it

I don't think Lotus guitars have a model number, the model *is* "Strat copy"

Digitech GSP Pro 21 versus Digitech GNX 3

I used to own a Digitech GSP 21 Pro, but had to sell it 7 years ago. I now have the chance to buy a second hand one for £300. Does the Digitech GNX 3 have better Sustain, distortion. & Overdrive sounds, as I loved the sounds on the GSP Pro?

thats David Berry, not Dave Barry. I have looked for info on the guitarist for ages and now know there is a column writer int he states call dave barry too. So anyone know anything about Dave Barry- guitarist, worked with Cher And Janet Jackson, from Minneapolis?

I HAVE A VERY OLD SILVERTONE SEMI-HALLOW BODY ELECTRIC GUITAR. IT HAS THREE HUMBUCKERS WITH INDIVIDULE ON/OFF SWITCHES,INDIVIDULE VOLUME&TONE KNOBS, AND AN ORIGALAL BIGSBY TREMELLO. IT ALSO HAS SQUARE INLAYS ON THE FRETBOARD. I WAS WANDERING WHAT IT MIGHT BE WORTH. I BOUGHT IT FROM A FRIEND OF THE FAMILY FOR 75 DOLLARS.

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'd say a couple hundred at least though. Put it on Ebay and see is the only thing I can really say though.

boogie bodies electric guitar

I have a boogie bodies guitar.I dont know much about its history and would like to know more about it .Its a birds eye maple neck and a tiger stripe maple body looks like a strat with a triple pick guard.the serial number is 0063 boogie bodies usa and is trademarked stamped.

I have a Washburn Acoustic guitar, Model D10 N...serial number 8809000254. I also have a Korg DT3 Digital Tuner. I was wondering if anybody could tell me how much each of these is worth. I tried searching on the internet but couldn't find anything.

The Washburn is about 180.00-200.00, get what you can out of it. The tuner is around 80.00 at most, but more than likely 65.00-70.00.

Emily...find Harmony Central......there are prices and write ups there for your guitar.......you may find the korg tuner there too if u look around john L

Most definitely, but it does depend on the condition. You could probably sell it to a hardcore collector because of the signature. If you're selling it, I'd put it on Ebay and see what kind of bids you get.

I havent had a chance to use the new ZR trem yet but I know that a lot of pros swear by the old style edge trems Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Head & munky from KoRn. check out www.jemsite.com for tons of info about everything Ibanez..

I forgot to mention that I have an original edge (not lo-pro) trem on a RG570 and I absolutely love it. The thing will not go out of tune. one time I removed the springs and took the bridge completely loose from the studs so I could clean the guitar. I put it all back together and it was still in tune! I really dont think you can go wrong. just steer clear of the Korean made trems such as the TRS-II those thing are absolute crap. Its really worth the extra money to get a "made in Japan" Ibanez.

Man Guitars

Anyone heard of Man Guitars? Not music man, etc. Tough to search because if you type in Man Guitars , even excluding the words Ernie Ball, Music, you still get about a million references!
This guitar looks like a Alembic ( or to be more exact, a Vantage copy of an Alembic), with a neck through, probably mid 70's Japanese, double cut, with
2 humbuckers w/adjustible poles (DiMarzio ?).
