I just purchased a guitar at a garage sale. Model # 7001 serial#4910.It has scratches and the finish is cracked but it plays incredably well even at the 15th fret. Any info on the year or who made this guitar would be appreciated Reg

broken string?

i was strumming a fender telecaster kind of hard and i think the A string broke. I mean its not like broken in two pieces, but like at the bottom something broke on it. Like its still connected to the guitar, but like extremelyyy loose. Is this just a broken string? How do I fix it?

its broken, sometimes the winding keeps it in 'one piece' but the core is broken to change it jut cut it and take it off and slap a new one on

1976 Ibanez Les Paul Custom

I have a 1976 Ibanez Les Paul Custom in great condition - can anyone advise me what this guitar is worth? Tobacco sunburst finish cream binding, mother of pearl details on body (below bridge)/ neck / headstock and fancy headstock design. Thanks.

Check on eBay. You can do a search on that brand, make and model. Then look at ended sales. That will give you an idea what it's going for if common enough. Also check the reviews at this web-site as usually everyone says what they paid used or new.

I just got a classical guitar and I have no idea how to play it because my friend said "im gonna teach you guitar" and I got classical guitar and it turns out that hes gonna teach me accoustic... now Im stuck with accoustics lessons in my head and a useless classical guitar..... a classical guitar is an acoustic guitar so i don't see that you have problem other than finding a classical guitar instructor, learn what you can from your friend until you find one

anyone ever hear of a faunin or fannin d57 guitar?????

all i can find out is that it was supposed to have been made in 1922 and is a style 018.. but cant locate or find mfgr.of this guitar.. reads Fannin or Faunin on it and the F is the duplicate of the F in fender.
any info will be helpful..e-mail me if u know n e thing about this guitar.

changing guitar strings

Just record the guitar signal direct (clean) then you can add any effects after and always have the clean signal.

Progressive Rock Band Forming.

I'm a guitarist of four years that wants to form a "working" progressive rock band in the Beaumont Tx. area. I need a drummer,bass player,keyboardist,& singer to start.Another guitarist would be nice as well. No stoners or potheads need apply. I would like to be up and working within six months tops. Cover tunes would be bands such as Rush,Yes,Triumph,Iron Maiden,Night Ranger,Judas Priest,etc. Original music always invited.

Sell the Zoom. Get a good Marshall tube amp. That's all you need.

can anyone tell me anything about an old Stella classical guitar made in USA by Harmony? All stickers appear to be inside and the serial number is still there too. Are these collectable or antique? It's in good shape. Very few places on it. I am just looking for some info. I don't want to pay for an appraisal until I am sure it will be worth it.

I have a Gibson EB2C neck-through body,hollow body construction electric bass all original in fair condition. Serial#865620, I would like to know the age and the value I know it's before a certain date because the manufacturer's sticker inside says made in Kalamazoo!
