hey,
i would suggest a passive emg pickup! emg's are great for jacksons. they have a high output which will boost your sound very good. emg also gives you the change to not only play rock but also blues punk and other styles of music. they aren't very expensive. check them out at www.emginc.com and look for passive pickups. i would suggest the H4 model in your bridge, which is a great pickup because it simulates the power of a active pickup and that's what you need if you want your guitar to sound more powerful and harder sound.

guitar goin out of tune

i got my guitar about a week ago, it is a used esp ltd m100, and at first it would not go out of tune, now it goes out of tune real easily. would this problem be caused from worn out strings, or is there something else that could be wrong? please respond on this site or email me.

hey... it could be cuz the strings are old...or it could be if theyre new...it shouldnt be that bad though...what i would do is go to a guitarshop near u and just ask for some help

Hey i'm a 15/f lookin to start a band, preferbaly around the same age. Influences: No Doubt, Letters to Cleo, Pink, Lillix, Simple Plan, Sum 41, etc. Problem is, I can't play any instruments (for a band neways) but I have a great singing voice so if neone is interested...I'm looking for maybe another singer and definitely a drummer, guitarist and such....located in the Northeren nj area...

hi my name is ian mcclung and i am 12 years old. i live in Seattle, WA and play bass guitar. my band has alot of skill but the cocky lead guitarist never wants to do cover songs. he always wants to have it his way and he named are band a dumb name. it is "Black Diamond." if you can give me an idea on how to make him actually want to do cover songs, i would greatly appreciate it. thanx!

well it seems like you guys want to start a band because its the cool thing to do now adays , your looking at mainstream things like blink , sum 41 those bands havn't been punk for 3 years , if you want to start a pop band thats diffrent , and hey if the 9 yearold starts a band let me know i want to see that show

yeah im 15.. i play guitar and we gut a drummer bassist and 2nd guitar.. i play lead and i kan sing pretty good but im lookin for a possible another singer with a good strong punk voice..i listen to the casualties the unseen a global threat

I have a Gibson SG Special with two black soapbox pickups, dots on the fretboard, and white tuner keys #220139, which places it made in 1964 if I read it right. I'd like to know how much it's worth please.

the best hard rock amp?

Im looking for a new amp. I have a fender roc pro 700 but i want sum thing with more balls. i like tubes but hate to replace them and soild state dosent have enuff chrunch. marshall or mesa?? peavey or randall???

If you're going to for hard distortion, definitly go with mesa, marshall isn't even close compared to mesa for distortion. I have a mesa road king, and I don't think there's a better amp out there. If you're looking for a good amp for a clean sound, marshall is the way to go. If you have money to blow on guitar amps, you might as well by a mesa triple rect or road king and then get a marshall and get to mesa 4x12's and run your guitar through those. Then you'll have the best of both worlds...
